# Trust & Security

Why you can trust Pixotchi: an audited token, verifiable onchain mechanics, a fair launch, and honest disclosure of how the game is run.

"Trust us" is not an argument. Pixotchi's answer to every skeptical question is the same: **go look.** The token is audited, and every mechanic that touches your assets runs in public smart contracts on Base, where every action and every balance change is permanently visible.

## The receipts

* **Onchain by construction.** Every asset-touching mechanic (minting, care, attacks, rewards, buildings, casino odds, raids) executes in smart contracts on Base. Every action, parameter change, and balance is a public transaction anyone can audit on BaseScan, forever.
* **Audited token.** SEED's contract was audited by [BlockSAFU](https://blocksafu.com/audit/0x546D239032b24eCEEE0cb05c92FC39090846adc7).
* **Fair launch, provable.** 20M SEED, 100% public from block one, zero team allocation. Verifiable in the token's transfer history.
* **Onchain rewards math.** ETH distribution is a public contract formula (pro-rata by PTS). Nobody can favor a wallet, and these docs' numbers were verified by reading the live contracts directly.
* **Three years live.** Launched early 2023 and shipping ever since: through Base's earliest days, into Mini Apps, lands, casinos, AI, and beyond.
* **Public pulse.** [status.pixotchi.tech](https://status.pixotchi.tech) reports live health and latency for all eight moving parts: the app, the [staking app](https://stake.pixotchi.tech), the RPC cluster, the indexer, the database, notifications, the Farcaster Mini App, and Base mainnet. A public [Dune dashboard](https://dune.com/pixotchi/dashboard) tracks ecosystem analytics.

## Honest disclosures

Premium docs shouldn't just market, so here's the full picture:

* **The game is live-balanced.** Prices, production rates, and reward ranges are onchain parameters the team can tune (that's how any real game stays fair as it grows). Every change is a public transaction; the app and these docs read live values.
* **Contracts are upgradeable.** The Plant and Land systems use modular upgradeable architectures (details) so features ship without asset migrations. Upgrades are visible onchain the moment they happen.
* **Some operations are off-chain.** Chat, notifications, missions, and the AI assistant run on conventional infrastructure; none of them ever custody assets. Asset-touching logic is exclusively onchain.
* **The AI can't touch your wallet.** Neural Seed is architecturally read-only. It cannot sign, send, or prepare transactions.

* Found a vulnerability? Report it responsibly through the official channels, with minimal public details please.

## The philosophy

Pixotchi is an independent, long-term project. No seasonal cash-grab, no VC exit timeline. The bet is simple: build a genuinely fun game with a genuinely honest economy, in public, for years. Everything above exists so you don't have to take that on faith.
