Installing the Pixotchi PWA is a straightforward process that allows you to enjoy quick and easy access to the game directly from your home screen.

This guide ensures that both iOS and Android users can install the app without any hassle, providing them with a seamless gaming experience. Make sure to follow the steps applicable to your device.

iOS Devices

1. Open Safari Browser: Begin by launching the Safari app on your iOS device. It is important to use Safari as other browsers may not support adding PWAs to the home screen.

2. Navigate to the Pixotchi Web App:

   • Type https://app.pixotchi.tech in the Safari address bar and press 'Go' to open the Pixotchi web app.

3. Access the Share Menu:

   • Tap the share icon (the square with an arrow pointing upwards) at the bottom of the Safari window to bring up the share menu.

4. Add to Home Screen:

   • Scroll through the options in the share menu and select 'Add to Home Screen.'

   • You will be prompted to name the shortcut before adding it. You can name it 'Pixotchi' for easy recognition.

   • Tap 'Add' in the upper-right corner.

5. Launch Pixotchi from Home Screen:

   • Exit Safari and locate the new Pixotchi icon on your home screen.

   • Tap the icon to open and start playing Pixotchi directly from your home screen.

6. Sign Up and Create Wallet:

   • Upon launching the app, sign up using your invite code.

   • Follow the prompts to create a self-custody wallet with Privy, ensuring secure and seamless transactions within Pixotchi.

Android Devices

1. Open Chrome Browser:

   • Open the Google Chrome app on your Android device. Chrome supports the installation of PWAs on Android.

2. Navigate to the Pixotchi Web App:

   • Enter https://app.pixotchi.tech in the Chrome address bar and press 'Enter' to visit the Pixotchi web app.

3. Install the App:

   • Tap the menu icon (three dots in the upper right corner) to open the Chrome menu.

   • Look for the option that says 'Add to Home screen' or 'Install app' and tap it.

   • You will be prompted to confirm the addition. You can also rename the app shortcut if necessary.

4. Confirm Installation:

   • After confirming, Chrome will add the Pixotchi app icon to your home screen.

5. Launch Pixotchi from Home Screen:

   • Find the new Pixotchi icon on your home screen or in your app drawer.

   • Tap the icon to launch Pixotchi and start playing.

6. Sign Up and Create Wallet:

   • Start the app and sign up using the provided invite code.

   • Proceed to create a self-custody wallet with Privy for managing your in-game transactions and assets securely.
