Social & Notifications
The social layer of Pixotchi: public chat, onchain profiles and follows, share cards, plant-health notifications, activity feed, and themes.
Pixotchi is a multiplayer garden. The social layer is built in, not bolted on.
Public chat
Tap the chat bubble in the header for the community room (on desktop it opens side-by-side with the Neural Seed AI).
House rules, enforced automatically: 200 characters per message, one message per 3 seconds, spam filtered. Messages naturally expire after 24 hours; it's a garden fence chat, not a forum. Names show as your ENS or Basename when you have one.
Profiles & follows
Tap any player, in chat, on leaderboards, or on the map, to open their profile: their plants, lands, and stats. Follow players you like; follows live on the Ethereum Follow Protocol, an open onchain social graph that belongs to you, not to Pixotchi.
Share cards
Use a mint’s share button to open a prepared post for Farcaster or X. Review and publish it in that service; generating a share card does not post it automatically.
Notifications
Plant-care notifications target plants with less than 12 hours of lifetime remaining. Enable notifications in a supported Coinbase Wallet (formerly Base App) or Farcaster client. The scheduled check runs every two hours, with throttling to avoid repeated alerts; delivery depends on the host and notification service. Keep checking your plants’ timers directly.
Activity feed
The Activity tab streams the last 24 hours of onchain events: attacks, kills, mints, arcade wins, upgrades, quests, casino results, raids. View the whole game or filter to just you (incoming versus outgoing included). Everything links back to the transaction, because everything is a transaction.
Make it yours
Eight color themes, optional ambient music, a snowy winter mode, and a broadcast system where the team posts announcements in-app. And for the curious: legend speaks of a Secret Garden that opens only to those who dial the themes in just the right order...
